Sales Executive

Role Overview
We are looking for a self-driven Sales Executive to grow and manage our customer base across the scientific community. This is a consultative sales role: you will engage directly with lab users, scientists, and lab managers to understand their research needs and guide them toward the most suitable products and solutions. You own the full sales cycle — from prospecting to close — and are expected to build lasting relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
This role suits someone who is commercially sharp, technically curious, and energized by working with smart people doing important work.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively develop new business opportunities across universities, research institutes, laboratories, and industry.
• Engage with researchers, scientists, and laboratory teams to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Apply a consultative sales approach to deliver tailored solutions and build long-term customer relationships.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to quotation, closing, and after-sales support.
• Achieve sales targets while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with the technical, product, and marketing teams to improve customer experience and support business growth.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and ANR's evolving product portfolio.
• Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and customer visits to build relationships and generate new opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
• Minimum 1 years of sales experience in a related industry (laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, life sciences, materials science, or similar).
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to build rapport with technical audiences.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the discipline to manage your own pipeline and schedule.
• Consultative selling mindset: you ask good questions, listen carefully, and recommend rather than push.
Preferred
• Background in science or engineering (degree or hands-on lab experience) is a strong advantage.
• Existing relationships within the research or laboratory community in Singapore or the region.
