Job Description

Responsibilities

Role: Assistant Procurement Manager (Chagi Airport)


The Assistant Procurement Manager support end-to-end procurement activities across multiple brands, ensuring cost efficiency, supply continuity, compliance, and strong supplier partnerships. This role works closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Warehouse, Health & safety and franchisors, and SSP APAC to support business growth and operational excellence.


Main Responsibilities:

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

  • Deliver procurement budgets KPIs in the designated area or category.
  • Responsible for strategic sourcing, including new and substitute item sourcing.
  • Procure food, beverages, packaging, smallwares, equipment (OPEX/CAPEX), and services.
  • Manage PR and PO processing to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
  • Coordinate franchise brand purchasing and ensure compliance with franchisor requirements.
  • Plan and implement cost control and cost saving initiatives as per budget
  • Conduct monthly cost price reviews and updates in CHECK.
  • Create and maintain inventory codes Masterfile to ensure data accuracy and up to date with regular review and cleansing.
  • Prepare manual POs for non-Operations departments as required.
  • Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned by the Head of Commercial.


Supplier & Contract Management

  • Ensure Suppliers/Vendors onboarding process are fully implemented according to the SOP.
  • Create and maintain suppliers Masterfile, review on a regular basis according to the SOP.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with SSP policies, brand standards, Halal requirements, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance business reviews with key supplies.
  • Manage supplier contracts and related documentation.
  • Support RFPs and tender exercises with internal and regional stakeholders.


Country Operational Support

  • Support Operations teams on procurement-related matters.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, 3PL, and Operations to ensure supply continuity.
  • Support monthly closing activities (GRN, STR, stock take report and open items reconciliation in CHECK).
  • Coordinate and supply order information to manage billing and payment with finance personnel.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, HR, and Logistics.


Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • All compliance documents related to supply chain,signed, maintained, updated, report.
  • Ensure procured items meet food safety, quality, SSP, brand, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain product specifications and support supplier audits, including Halal compliance.
  • Support audit preparation and responses related to procurement and supply chain.


Reporting & Regional/Group Purchasing Projects

  • Responsible for providing accurate and timely submission of month end reports including MIPI, 12PPP, Inflation,
  • Responsible for accurate and timely Sustainability data entry as per due date (half year, full year, and as requested).
  • Responsible for other projects required by Group, APAC, Regional, Country level i.e. Business Continuity, internal audits, etc.


Person Specification:

  • Degree or qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in FMCG, food service, retail, or hospitality.
  • Experience in PR/PO processes, supplier management, costing, and basic financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, inventory management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Familiarity with food safety, quality assurance, Halal compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement/SCM systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
