Responsibilities
Job description:
- Reviewing and posting journal entries
- Prepare complex jounal entries, such as month-end accrual for open POs, FRS 116 leases, provisions, etc.
- Review the reasonableness of financials before closing the monthly books
- Coordinate the year-end audit and draft the annual financial statements
- Prepare monthly consolidation reports for head office and shareholders
- Prepare monthly reports for management and quarterly reports for MAS
- Prepare all submissions to the Risk department and coordinate the annual BCP exercise
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and follow up on the outstanding items, if any
- Drive the GST ACAP application and various process improvement initiatives within the Group
- Prepare tax and deferred tax computation at year-end and ensure timely filing of taxes to tax authorities
- Coordinate monthly intercompany recharges and reconcile the intercompany balances
- Compile data and information to the Department of Statistics
- Consolidation of Group accounts and verifier of payments (backup)
- Prepare cash flow forecast
- Perform other duties as assigned
