Job Scope

Electrical Operations & Maintenance

1) Operate, monitor, and maintain LV and HV electrical systems up to 33kV.

2) Perform switching operations, isolation, energization, and shutdown procedures.

3) Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear, transformers, generators, MCCs, and distribution systems.

4) Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure minimal downtime.

Project & Construction Activities

1) Supervise electrical installation works at construction sites.

2) Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

3) Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.

4) Ensure installation works comply with project requirements and statutory regulations.

Safety & Compliance

1) Ensure compliance with the Electricity Supply Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994, and Energy Commission requirements.

2) Implement Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and Permit-to-Work systems.

3) Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessments.

4) Ensure proper use of PPE and electrical safety equipment.

Supervision & Coordination

1) Supervise wiremen, technicians, subcontractors, and site workers.

2) Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and authorities.

3) Monitor contractor performance and workmanship quality.

4) Provide technical guidance to maintenance and installation teams

Documentation & Reporting

1) Maintain electrical logbooks and switching records.

2) Prepare maintenance reports, inspection reports, and commissioning records.

3) Update electrical drawings and asset documentation.

4) Submit regular reports to management and clients.
