Territory Account Manager (Hunter & Farmer Role)

A well-established and growing player within the network infrastructure ecosystem, specialising in connectivity and physical infrastructure solutions for enterprise and data centre environments. The business is expanding its footprint in Southern Malaysia and is looking for a commercially driven sales professional to develop new market opportunities.
Your new role
You will be responsible for driving new business growth within an area, with a strong focus on acquiring new end-user accounts. This is a field-based, hunter-focused role where you will proactively identify opportunities, open doors, and build relationships within key industries. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing and account development, while promoting a portfolio of network infrastructure solutions such as structured cabling, connectivity, and related hardware components.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong hunter sales mindset with a proven ability to win new business and open new accounts.
- Experience in an IT ecosystem (e.g. system integrators, network infrastructure, connectivity solutions) or adjacent industries such as UPS, power or electrical solutions.
- Proven track record in managing and growing end-user accounts with consistent sales performance.
- Strong industry network with the ability to engage decision-makers and penetrate accounts.
- Confident in field sales, client visits, and relationship building across key stakeholders.
