Takasago Singapore is a cleanroom engineering company specializing in Cleanroom Design & Build projects for a variety of industries such as semiconductor manufacturing plants, disk drive manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical plants and laboratories. We also installed substantial HVAC systems for high-rise buildings, hotels, shopping centres, ordinary factories.

Job Summary

Assist engineering projects with autonomy, ensuring safety compliance, quality control, and timely delivery while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining effective client and consultant communications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management activities with minimal supervision to ensure successful delivery of cleanroom and HVAC engineering projects
  • Represent the company in external project kick-off meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to align project objectives and technical requirements
  • Implement and enforce safe work procedures (SWP) and risk control measures to maintain a safe working environment on site
  • Proactively identify and resolve site problems promptly to minimize project delays and disruptions
  • Prepare and submit timely project progress reports and documentation to stakeholders
  • Manage quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes by recording defects and ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions
  • Coordinate daily work activities of site workers to ensure tasks are performed correctly and efficiently
  • Conduct daily inspections of work progress, housekeeping, and safety compliance in collaboration with safety personnel
  • Support cost control efforts by minimizing material wastage and optimizing the use of tools and equipment
  • Initiate and manage material orders required for project execution to maintain workflow continuity
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including email communications and records of project progress and damages
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support project and company objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant working experience
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Project for project scheduling and reporting
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player

Candidates with minimal or no experience will be considered for the Assistant Engineer position
