Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Subang Jaya. The Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and promote the company’s fire safety and related products. This role involves preparing and delivering technical presentations, providing product demonstrations, and recommending solutions that align with customer needs and industry standards. The Sales Engineer will respond to technical inquiries, coordinate with internal technical and operations teams, and ensure timely follow-up on proposals and quotations. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate sales records, forecasting sales performance, and contributing to sales strategies for the Malaysian market.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand product specifications and apply them to customer requirements.
  • Candidates should possess effective Sales and Customer Service skills, including relationship management, negotiation, and follow-up.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, for presentations, reports, and client interactions.
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related technical field is preferred; relevant experience in fire safety, industrial products, or similar industries is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and travel to customer locations within the region as needed.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) and comfort with using CRM or sales tracking tools.
  • Commitment to safety standards, high ethical conduct, and collaborative work with cross-functional teams.
