Job Description

We are seeking a highly resilient and hands-on Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate daily cleaning operations across multiple sites in Singapore. This is a highly demanding, field-based role suited only for candidates with strong physical and mental stamina, unwavering discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure with minimal rest.  This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision Across Multiple Sites:

Oversee and manage cleaning teams at different client locations within a day, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and according to the client’s specifications. Ensure that staff follow systematic cleaning routines, maintain high standards, and comply with each client’s unique requirements.

2. Client Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their cleaning needs are met and addressing any issues or requests promptly. Build strong relationships with clients by maintaining regular communication and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

3. Physical Requirements:

Be physically capable of lifting objects that can weigh up to 25kg and pushing or pulling loads of approximately 100kg as needed. Perform and oversee physically demanding tasks, including furniture moving, dusting, wiping, sweeping, mopping, handling waste, and basic outdoor work such as gardening or grass cutting.

4. Flexibility and Mobility:

Travel to multiple client sites in a single day as required, demonstrating flexibility and effective time management. Adapt to various working environments, ensuring smooth coordination of cleaning activities across all assigned locations.

5. Effective Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and third parties, ensuring professional representation of the company at all times. Provide clear instructions to cleaning staff and report progress to clients and senior management.

6. Manual Work and Equipment Operation:

Perform and supervise manual cleaning tasks involving frequent bending, kneeling, standing, and climbing stairs. Handle and operate cleaning tools and equipment, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness is achieved at every site.

7. Administrative Tasks:

Use Microsoft Office for tasks such as generating reports, maintaining client records, completing paperwork, and providing operational feedback. Conduct training sessions for staff and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

8. Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that all cleaning operations comply with relevant health and safety standards at each client site.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure staff adhere to job descriptions, safety regulations, and client expectations.

9. Equipment Proficiency & Maintenance:

Operate and perform basic maintenance on cleaning equipment, including Hi-jet, Single Dice, Ride-on scrubbers, Push-behind scrubbers, and Robotic scrubbers. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate repair work when necessary to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

· Performance Under Pressure: Ability to manage multiple tasks and locations efficiently, even under tight deadlines and pressure.

· Flexible Work Hours: Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Must be available to travel between various client locations as required.

· Cleaning Expertise: Knowledge of professional cleaning standards and sanitation processes.

· Equipment Proficiency: Experience in operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as Hi-jet, Single Dice, Ride-on scrubbers, Push-behind scrubbers, and Robotic scrubbers.

· Outdoor Work: Willingness to perform cleaning duties in outdoor environments when needed.

· Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing housekeeping or cleaning operations, preferably in an outsourced cleaning company.
