Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Coordinator to oversee quality and operational activities in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with established standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify adherence to customer requirements, engineering specifications, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that all incoming materials and finished goods meet contractual, regulatory, and quality standards prior to acceptance and release.
  • Identify and mitigate quality risks proactively to avoid delivering non-conforming products to customers.
  • Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) for new components and those with a production gap of two years or more, ensuring comprehensive understanding and documentation according to SAE AS9102 standards.
  • Maintain and review monitoring and measuring equipment for proper control, calibration, and timely recertification per quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Review Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and Material Test Reports (MTR) pre-receipt to guarantee full traceability and compliance with purchase order specifications from approved suppliers.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in line with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support business and operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Education: ITE or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Quality Assurance functions.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.
  • Motivated team player capable of driving results and fostering improvements.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills in dynamic environments.
  • Capable of cross-functional collaboration to enhance service performance and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hands-on experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Oracle ERP is a plus.
