Job Description

Responsibilities

Join a dynamic team as an Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer, where your expertise in engineering analytics will play a crucial role in enhancing the mechanical systems of trains and plant equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and design engineering solutions, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  • Identify and consolidate engineering standards to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conduct certification for workshop maintenance capabilities in line with established procedures.
  • Develop work instructions, testing parameters, and test equipment to elevate workshop repair and overhaul capabilities.
  • Investigate defects to determine root causes and utilize fault tree analysis and forensic investigation methods.
  • Review project design specifications, ensuring safety, reliability, and maintainability standards.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in maintenance depots or facilities, working in rotating or fixed shifts as specified.
  • Develop data analytics and condition monitoring to facilitate a shift from preventive to predictive maintenance.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrated competency in dashboarding tools such as PowerBI or similar software.
  • Previous experience in railway systems is advantageous.
  • Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a hands-on approach in a workshop environment.
  • Ability to independently visualize data to convey concepts and trends effectively.
  • Familiarity with diagnostics and reliability engineering methods, including FMECA, fault tree analysis, and Weibull analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
