Job Scope:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ physical conditions and functional abilities to develop individualized, evidence-based rehabilitation plans.
• Implement a variety of physiotherapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and modalities to enhance mobility and overall well-being.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of progress and response to therapy.
• Educate residents and their families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and pain management strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for each resident.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Recommend and instruct residents on the proper use of assistive devices to optimize mobility and independence.

Requirements:

• Degree in Physiotherapy (recognized by AHPC).
• Post-graduate qualification or certification in treatment techniques is an advantage.
• Registered with the Singapore AHPC with valid practicing certificate.
• Highly encourage to be a member of the Singapore Physiotherapy Association.
• At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in the relevant field.
• Mature and good team player.
• Provide support for Jamiyah Singapore and Jamiyah Nursing Home events.
