Quantity Surveyor (Junior)

Pre-Contract & Tender Stage

·       Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and feasibility studies.

·       Take-off quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) or cost breakdowns.

·       Call, evaluate,and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.

·       Assist in tender submissions, pricing strategies, and clarifications.

·       Advise management on cost implications, risks, and value engineering.

Post-Contract & Cost Control

·       Monitor and control project costs against approved budgets.

·       Prepare and evaluate progress claims, payment responses, and certifications.

·       Manage and evaluate variation orders, claims, and counterclaims.

·       Track project financial performance and cash flow projections.

·       Prepare monthly cost reports and financial summaries for management.

Contract Administration

• Administer main contract and subcontract agreements.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and timelines.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Support dispute resolution, claims negotiation, and settlement matters.

Final Accounts & Project Close-Out

• Prepare and agree on final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper documentation of variations and claims.
• Assist in project handover and close-out financial documentation.
