Job Description

Responsibilities

Join our innovative team as a Mechanical Design Lead, where you will play a crucial role in driving design projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary mechanical design resource and team lead in Singapore.
  • Oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure successful execution.
  • Plan projects effectively and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with the local tool design team.
  • Work in partnership with manufacturing sites to support new product introductions (NPI).
  • Engage with development project teams globally to provide support and insights.
  • Assist local management and sales teams with budgeting and quoting for customer projects, both new and existing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design.
  • Proven track record in Product Development and familiarity with the entire process.
  • Experience in Project Management and technical leadership roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, along with a creative and problem-solving approach.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
