About the Role
Join one of the region’s leading bridge design teams as a Civil & Structural Engineer. This role is suited for motivated engineering professionals who are passionate about structural design, technical problem-solving, and delivering safe, efficient solutions for building and civil infrastructure projects.
What You Will Do
- Develop detailed civil and structural designs for buildings and civil infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations and review structural drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and relevant design standards.
- Work closely with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop practical and efficient design schemes for civil and structural works.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities to support smooth project delivery.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues effectively and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to project coordination and ensure deliverables are completed within scheduled timelines.
Skills & Competencies We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles, including familiarity with Eurocodes.
- Ability to prepare and interpret engineering calculations and structural drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete (RC) and steel structure design/detailing.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as SAP2000, Midas Civil, Adsec, SAFE, or similar tools.
- Familiar with BIM and drafting software will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills when working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage site issues independently.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and commitment to project deadlines.
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
