Job Description

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Recreation, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 2–3 years of operational experience in a theme park, waterpark, indoor attraction, family entertainment centre, hospitality, or related industry. 
  • Experience in supervising frontline staff is an advantage. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Good understanding of operational procedures and safety standards. 
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Good organisational and time management skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts

Responsibilities

The Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the indoor waterpark to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all guests. This role coordinates operational activities, supervises frontline staff, maintains service standards, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Operational Management

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the indoor waterpark. 
  • Ensure all attractions, facilities, and guest areas are operational, clean, and well-maintained. 
  • Monitor daily opening and closing procedures. 
  • Conduct routine operational inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. 
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Housekeeping, Security, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. 

Guest Experience

  • Ensure guests receive excellent customer service throughout their visit. 
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, complaints, and incident resolutions professionally. 
  • Monitor guest flow and implement crowd management strategies during peak periods. 
  • Ensure all guest-facing areas meet cleanliness and presentation standards. 

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, coach, and support frontline operational staff. 
  • Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and manpower planning. 
  • Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational updates. 
  • Ensure staff adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and safety procedures. 
  • Identify training needs and provide on-the-job coaching. 

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and operational SOPs. 
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections. 
  • Assist in emergency response situations and incident investigations. 
  • Ensure all safety equipment is available and operational. 
  • Promote a strong safety culture among staff. 

Administrative Duties

  • Prepare daily operational reports and incident reports. 
  • Monitor inventory levels for operational supplies and submit replenishment requests. 
  • Maintain accurate operational records and documentation. 
  • Assist in developing and reviewing operational SOPs. 

Event & Activity Support

  • Coordinate operational support for park events, promotions, and special activities. 
  • Ensure adequate staffing and operational readiness during peak seasons and special events.
