Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to manage machine operations and material handling effectively. Join our team to contribute to a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate cutting machines by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Adjust machine settings safely to execute tasks as per specifications.
  • Conduct various material movement tasks related to order filling, receiving, and loading/unloading.
  • Utilize assigned power equipment (e.g., crown truck, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, forklift) to meet order requirements efficiently.
  • Select, fill, and package orders according to customer specifications.
  • Attach bundle tags to shipped materials and prepare them for transportation.
  • Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to execute job functions.
  • Observe and report any equipment defects or excessive wear; perform basic set-up and maintenance as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Undertake additional related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • GCE O-Level or SPM qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in production settings.
  • Possession of a forklift license is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using computers for tasks such as printing and inventory checking.
  • Physically fit to handle material transfers manually.
