The ELV Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of ELV and industrial automation systems to ensure the reliable performance of plant facilities. This role supports troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and new construction projects, while coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facility operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform the daily operation, maintenance, and inspection of ELV and automation systems to ensure stable, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize Siemens PLC systems (e.g., S************* and S************* SMART) to minimize system downtime.
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial instruments, including temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and differential pressure sensors.
- Maintain and support Access Control Systems, including controllers, card readers, electric locks, and related communication networks.
- Execute minor ELV installation and modification works, including cable routing, point additions, system upgrades, and equipment adjustments.
- Support new factory and building construction projects by participating in system design reviews, site coordination, installation supervision, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with Electrical, BA/BMS, and IT teams, as well as external vendors and contractors, to ensure the successful execution of operational and project-related activities.
- Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation, including I/O lists, wiring diagrams, commissioning reports, and maintenance records.
- Provide on-site technical support and undertake other duties assigned by the Engineering or Facilities Manager.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, ELV, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in plant operations and maintenance, with exposure to engineering or facility improvement projects preferred.
- Good knowledge of Siemens PLC systems, with the ability to interpret PLC logic, perform online monitoring, and troubleshoot system faults.
- Familiarity with industrial instrumentation, including the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and differential pressure sensors.
- Hands-on experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of Access Control Systems.
- Basic knowledge of structured cabling systems, including Cat5e/Cat6 copper cabling and LC/SC fiber optic networks.
- Strong hands-on technical skills with the ability to perform routine maintenance and execute small-scale engineering projects independently.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical discussions, meetings, and documentation.
- Self-motivated, responsible, proactive, and adaptable to both operational and project-based work environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Building Automation (BA), Building Management Systems (BMS), or SCADA systems.
- Experience in factory facilities operation and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of industrial networking concepts, including switches, IP addressing, and VLAN configuration.
- Experience supporting new factory or building construction projects, including system installation, testing, and commissioning.
