Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Finance team in Malaysia. This role is ideal for a finance professional with 3–5 years of accounting experience who is looking to grow within a dynamic multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare accurate journal entries, monthly schedules, and financial reports.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting.
- Process supplier payments and monitor customer collections.
- Assist in preparing cash flow reports and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, SST regulations, and e-Invoicing requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities during audits and statutory submissions.
- Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Support ERP system enhancements, finance process improvements, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in a multinational company will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, SST, and e-Invoicing requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar) is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently while being an effective team player.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
