Role Purpose

This role plays a key part in supporting large-scale finance transformation initiatives involving enterprise procurement and finance systems. As these projects impact multiple business units, effective change management is essential to drive successful user adoption, minimize operational disruption, and embed new ways of working across the organization.

The Change Management Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies to support enterprise-wide system implementations. The role focuses on ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies across multiple business units by driving stakeholder engagement, user readiness, and organizational change throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Change Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with project objectives, scope, and timelines.
• Conduct change impact assessments to evaluate the effects on people, processes, and technology.
• Define the overall change vision, objectives, and approach in collaboration with project leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Identify and assess key stakeholders and develop tailored engagement strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and business stakeholders to secure sponsorship, commitment, and organizational buy-in.

Communication & Training

• Develop and implement communication strategies using various channels such as newsletters, town halls, FAQs, and project updates.
• Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate the design and delivery of training programmes, including e-learning, instructor-led workshops, and coaching sessions.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and mentor the change management team to ensure effective delivery of change initiatives.
• Oversee multiple concurrent change programmes, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and efficient resource utilization.

Resistance Management & Adoption

• Identify potential resistance to change and implement mitigation strategies to encourage user acceptance.
• Partner closely with business units to support local adoption and reinforce change initiatives across the organization.

Post-Implementation & Continuous Improvement

• Define and monitor adoption metrics, user feedback, and change performance indicators.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain and enhance the organization's change management framework and playbook in line with evolving business needs and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Professional certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) is preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in change management, with additional consulting and transformation experience considered advantageous.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale finance system implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience in stakeholder analysis, organizational readiness assessments, and change performance measurement.
• Demonstrated experience delivering presentations to senior management and facilitating training programmes.
• Project management experience is an added advantage.
• Experience within the insurance or asset management industry is preferred but not mandatory.
