Roles & Responsibilities (Mathematics / Science Teacher)

• Plan and deliver rigorous, well-structured Mathematics/Science lessons aligned with curriculum standards and assessment requirements.
• Develop students’ conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Design differentiated learning strategies to address varying ability levels.
• Integrate appropriate technology, experiments, and practical demonstrations to enhance conceptual clarity.
• Assess, track, and document students’ academic progress with accuracy and accountability.
• Provide targeted remedial support to strengthen foundational competencies.
• Maintain high standards of classroom discipline and academic integrity.
• Demonstrate strong professional ethics , fairness, and responsibility in all interactions with students.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding academic performance and student development.
• Engage in continuous professional learning to remain updated with syllabus changes and pedagogical best practices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Science, or related field, with minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the Singapore curriculum.
• Ability to explain abstract concepts clearly and systematically.
• Demonstrates professional conduct, accountability, and strong educator ethics .
• Competent in basic IT tools for instructional delivery and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in English; ability to communicate in a second language is an advantage.
