We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our growing team. You will be the cornerstone of our financial operations, taking full ownership of the accounting cycle. The ideal candidate is someone who not only manages day-to-day tasks with precision but also thrives on improving processes and providing insights that support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Set Accounting: Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Trial Balances.
• Month-End/Year-End Closing: Lead the closing process to ensure all financial data is accurate and compliant.
• Cash Flow & Payments: Oversee supplier payments and monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Audit: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax agents. Assist with GST reporting and ensure all records meet Singapore statutory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies and help implement streamlined accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Administration: Handle ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as required to support team objectives.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience handling full-set accounting in Singapore.
• Software Proficiency: Strong expertise in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Info-Tech).
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Competencies: Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. You are meticulous, deadline-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Audit Readiness: Proven experience supporting and preparing for external audits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a startup or SME environment is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in building or improving financial workflows from the ground up.
• Deep familiarity with current Singapore GST regulations and accounting standards.
