Job Description

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the logistics, transportation, and supply chain sectors.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and emerging business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Expand the company's customer portfolio through strategic prospecting.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Understand customer logistics requirements and recommend suitable transportation and supply chain solutions.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen business relationships.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing responsive and professional service.
  • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and service-related issues promptly.

3. Sales & Account Management

  • Prepare and present quotations, pricing proposals, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.
  • Manage customer accounts and ensure service contracts are renewed on time.
  • Monitor customer shipment activities and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Achieve individual sales targets, revenue objectives, and profitability goals.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Business Administration
  • Marketing
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • International Business
  • Transportation Management
  • or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in logistics sales, freight forwarding, transportation, shipping, or supply chain services.
  • Experience selling air freight, sea freight, land transportation, warehousing, or customs brokerage services is preferred.
  • Existing customer network in the logistics industry is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
