Job Details:

• Location: Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur
• Contract: 12 months
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
• Salary: Up to RM 6,500

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned procurement categories.
• Lead competitive sourcing exercises, including RFQs, supplier evaluations, and commercial assessments.
• Establish and manage Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and framework contracts with strategic suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contractual agreements to achieve optimal value.
• Create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved sourcing outcomes and company procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance performance and long-term collaboration.
• Review spend data and market intelligence to identify opportunities for cost optimization and supplier consolidation.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and relevant governance requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to align procurement activities with technical and business needs.
• Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews and implement improvement initiatives where required.
• Assess supply chain risks and recommend appropriate mitigation plans to maintain supply continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within the engineering industry.
• Prior experience in the Oil & Gas sector, including field and workshop operations, is essential.
• Proficient in SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office applications (or equivalent procurement systems).
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
