At Issen, we take pride in delivering authentic Japanese dining with warmth, precision, and harmony. We are looking for a hardworking and responsible Kitchen Crew / Commis to support the daily kitchen operations

What You’ll Do

• Assist chef in daily food preparation and cooking support.
• Prepare ingredients, sauces, side dishes, garnishes, and kitchen items.
• Support plating and food assembly during service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Handle ingredients properly and follow stock storage procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth service.

What We’re Looking For

• Kitchen experience is preferred but not compulsory.
• Interest in Japanese cuisine or fine dining is an advantage.
• Good attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
• Able to work weekends and split shift
• Applicable for Malaysian or spouse visa holder only
