Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

· Familiar with procurement processes, import/export procedures, shipping documentation, and coordination with overseas suppliers.

· Handle import/export compliance matters, including customs clearance, duties, shipping documentation, and coordination with relevant authorities

· Act as a liaison between management, employees, clients, and external partners.

· Manage purchase orders, requisitions, delivery documentation, and review purchase invoices.

· Plan and procure equipment, stationery, services, and operational supplies.

· Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal procedures.

· Evaluate and approve products and services for purchase, including comparison with at least 3 quotations.

· Support sales, inventory, logistics, and marketing-related activities.

· Manage inventory systems, ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records, and examine containers of goods to verify item quantity and accuracy.

· Coordinate marketing merchandise and monitor marketing-related expenses.

· Handle customer claims and liaise with suppliers on manufacturing defects.

· Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth information flow across departments.

· Perform ad-hoc duties and related assignments as instructed by Management

Requirements

i. Degree in any field.

ii. Fluent in Mandarin (speaking and reading), English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

iii. Strong communication and organizational skills.

iv. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.

v. Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or similar roles, with experience in foreign currency imports.

vi. Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking abilities.

vii. Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

viii. Possess own transport and valid driving license.

ix. Background in Tyre trading and a Mathematics/Statistics major is a plus.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
