• Review customer enquiries, RFQs, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Develop technical solutions for factory automation, machine building, robotics, vision inspection, and control systems.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including scope of work, solution descriptions, and project deliverables.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimations, Bills of Materials (BOM), and quotations.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and vendors for mechanical, electrical, and automation components.
• Select suitable automation products, including PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, sensors, robotics, vision systems, and related industrial equipment.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Project Engineers to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and cost-effective.
• Prepare proposal presentations and provide technical support during customer meetings, discussions, and tender clarifications.
• Ensure proposals are completed and submitted within the required deadlines.
• Maintain quotation records, costing databases, and proposal documentation.
• Support project handover to the Project Engineering team upon successful project award.
• Keep up to date with the latest industrial automation technologies, products, and market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in proposal engineering, application engineering, or industrial automation is an added advantage.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple proposals and tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics, machine vision, servo systems, and industrial networking.
• Experience in cost estimation and proposal preparation for automation projects.
• Good negotiation skills when liaising with suppliers and vendors.
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong presentation and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
