Job Summary
The Finance Executive is responsible for managing the company’s overall accounting and finance functions, including preparation of full sets of accounts, statutory compliance, tax matters, and audit coordination. The role also supports human resource and administrative functions, ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Handle the full set of accounts for non-halal business operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Audit & Taxation
- Liaise with external tax agents and auditors on tax and audit-related matters.
- Assist in annual audit processes, including preparation of schedules and drafting of audit reports.
- Ensure timely completion of year-end audits.
- Prepare and update tax computation templates and handle tax revisions.
- Prepare and submit the company’s SST (Sales and Service Tax) submissions in a timely manner.
Process Improvement
- Assist in the implementation of new procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve departmental workflow and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and training to new staff when required.
Human Resources & Payroll Support
- Prepare payroll reports and ensure accuracy of payroll processing.
- Handle statutory payments (e.g. EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, SST where applicable).
- Monitor and maintain staff leave records.
Administrative & Other Duties
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
