We are looking for a detail-oriented Executive, Sustainability to drive the execution of CTOS's Sustainability Reporting Framework. In this role, you will oversee monthly ESG data collection, governance reporting, regulatory compliance, and sustainability reporting to ensure accurate, timely, and reliable disclosures.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will play a key role in embedding sustainability into day-to-day operations while supporting the Company's ESG commitments and long-term sustainability goals. Here's How You Will Add Value:
ESG Data Management & Reporting
- Manage the monthly ESG data collection cycle, including submission tracking, follow-ups, escalations, and data quality checks.
- Maintain the ESG Master Tracker and submission compliance records.
- Prepare monthly ESG dashboards for Management and quarterly reports for the Sustainability Committee/Board.
- Coordinate Sustainability Committee meetings, minutes, action tracking, and briefing materials.
Sustainability Governance & Compliance
- Maintain sustainability policies, document control, and the internal sustainability portal.
- Keep the ESG risk register aligned with Enterprise Risk Management.
- Monitor Bursa Malaysia, NSRF, IFRS S1/S2, and other regulatory developments, ensuring ongoing compliance and readiness.
Sustainability Reporting
- Lead preparation of the FY2026 Sustainability Statement, including narrative content, performance data, and disclosures aligned with IFRS S1/S2 and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
- Coordinate inputs from business functions and manage review cycles through Management, Legal, Internal Audit, and Board approval.
Audit & Assurance
- Serve as the primary coordinator for internal and external sustainability assurance activities.
- Maintain complete audit trails, supporting evidence, calculation methodologies, and documentation for all reported ESG metrics.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the central liaison for ESG reporting across accountable departments.
- Support sustainability communications, employee awareness initiatives, and external sustainability messaging in collaboration with Corporate Communications.
Double Materiality Assessment (DMA)
- Lead the 2026 refresh of the Double Materiality Assessment by updating stakeholder inputs, materiality assessments, and documentation.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and prepare the updated materiality matrix for Management and Board approval.
Board & Employee Sustainability Capability
- Coordinate Board sustainability training covering governance obligations, IFRS S1/S2, and CTOS's material ESG topics.
- Plan and deliver sustainability awareness workshops and internal communications, while measuring engagement and effectiveness.
Sustainability Initiatives
- Develop and coordinate one environmental and one social sustainability initiative, including CTOS's financial literacy campaign.
- Work with internal stakeholders to define objectives, implementation plans, communications, and impact measurement for inclusion in the Sustainability Statement.
What you'll need to succeed:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Corporate Governance, or related disciplines.
- Professional certification in sustainability, ESG, climate risk, or related fields will be an added advantage.
Work Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in sustainability, ESG, corporate planning, compliance, risk management, corporate affairs, or related functions.
- Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data management, regulatory compliance, or stakeholder engagement is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and sustainability reporting standards.
- Strong analytical, research, and data management skills.
- Good report writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions and levels.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
