Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Support Engineer to join our Managed Service team. You will play a crucial role in supporting Smart Site Safety Systems (4S), IoT devices, and IT infrastructure across various construction projects in Hong Kong. You will be working closely with site teams, bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and on-the-ground site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Site Operations & Support: Conduct regular site walkthroughs to ensure the healthy operation of Smart Delivery equipment (e.g., CCTV, IoT sensors, network devices, access control systems).

  2. Incident Management: Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for site IT issues. Perform basic equipment checking, minor physical adjustments, and photo/evidence recording.

  3. Deployment & Commissioning: Assist in the setup, installation, and decommissioning of IT/IoT equipment for new and closing project sites.

  4. Asset Management (4S): Work with the Asset Coordinator to track hardware inventory, ensure proper labeling of 4S equipment, and manage stock inflow/outflow.

  5. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the technical bridge between HQ and site-level stakeholders (Site Agents, Safety Officers, Project Managers).

  6. Reporting: Update incident logs, maintain asset records, and assist the SiteOp Lead in preparing weekly service reports.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.

  2. 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Field Engineering, or IoT deployment. (Fresh graduates with a strong hands-on attitude will also be considered).

  3. Willingness to travel within Hong Kong (Transport allowance provided).

  4. Holder of a valid HK Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card) is highly preferred. (Training will be sponsored if you do not currently hold one).

  5. Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi routers) and IoT/CCTV configurations.

  6. Good communication skills in Cantonese and English.

  7. Problem-solver, physically fit for site environments, and able to work independently.
