Job Description

Responsibilities

Tempura Chef

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook tempura and other required standards dishes according to traditional Japanese cooking techniques.
  • Ensure the food quality is up to required standard.
  • Ensure all the orders for functions / events are properly followed.
  • Compile and prepare recipes, to ensure standardized products can be followed and maintained.
  • Maintain food cost within budget
  • Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies
  • Ensure that the workplace remains clean and the safety of consumable goods by always respecting the hygiene

Requirements:

  • Certificate in food and beverage / hospitality management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a well-established hotel / clubhouse.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar capacity.
  • Flexible and adaptable to different working locations.
  • Computer knowledgeable.
  • Candidates with Teppanyaki experience would be an advantage
