Evolve Scientific Recruitment is currently partnering with a Technical Services Organization in search for a Construction Materials Testing Specialist. This position involves both laboratory and site-based responsibilities, working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver accurate testing results and technical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform construction materials testing activities at laboratory and project sites.
• Conduct technical assessments on concrete, soil and other construction materials using recognized testing methodologies.
• Review engineering drawings, project specifications and testing requirements to determine appropriate testing approaches.
• Analyse and interpret test results, providing clear technical conclusions and recommendations.
• Prepare, review and verify technical reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Support laboratory quality systems and maintain compliance with relevant accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members where required.
• Liaise with clients and project stakeholders regarding testing activities and technical findings.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and site safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline.
• Experience in construction materials testing, laboratory operations or engineering quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.
• Experience working within accredited laboratory environments will be advantageous.
