Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering design and execution of rotating and packaged equipment.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, enquiry documents, and engineering deliverables.
  • Handle rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, fans, and related auxiliary systems.
  • Coordinate with process, piping, electrical, instrumentation, structural, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Support procurement activities including technical bid evaluations, vendor clarifications, and vendor document review.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications and international standards such as API, ASME, ISO, and NFPA.
  • Participate in site surveys, factory acceptance tests (FAT), commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Manage technical interfaces with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support tendering activities, including material take-off (MTO) and cost estimation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
  • Be available for overseas or site assignments when required.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with strong experience in rotating and packaged equipment.
  • Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, offshore, or EPC projects.
  • Strong experience with pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, fans, skid packages, and auxiliary systems.
  • Experience across EPC phases including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Knowledge of API, ASME, ISO, NFPA, and client engineering standards.
  • Experience in equipment sizing, selection, vendor management, technical bid evaluation, and vendor document review.
  • Experience in FAT, site surveys, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical issue resolution.
  • Strong stakeholder management, coordination, leadership, and mentoring skills.
