Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the reliability and quality of Paydibs’ payment processing platforms and related applications. Day-to-day tasks include performing manual software testing, validating new features and releases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve issues. The role involves participating in test planning, contributing to quality standards and best practices, and supporting regression and integration testing cycles. The Quality Assurance Engineer will help ensure that products meet regulatory, security, and performance requirements before deployment to production environments.


Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with a solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in Test Execution and working with Test Cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Proficiency in Manual Testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail or similar) and basic understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.
  • Ability to analyse requirements, write clear test documentation, and communicate issues effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in fintech, payment processing, or highly regulated industries is an advantage, along with awareness of security and compliance considerations.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.
  • Experience in e2e test automation
