Role: Functional Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for a Functional Consultant with experience in Banking and Finance systems to support financial transformation and data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) systems, financial data migration, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with business users, technology teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery across global implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD/FRD).
• Work with business and technical teams to deliver finance system enhancements and implementations.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and financial data validation activities.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and governance requirements.
• Manage stakeholders and communicate project updates effectively.
• Support production issues and ensure system stability.
• Participate in global and multi-country finance transformation projects.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL) systems or financial platforms.
• Experience with data migration, reconciliation, and financial data analysis.
• Good understanding of regulatory compliance, audit, and governance processes.
• Experience in BRD/FRD documentation, JIRA, and UAT.
• Experience working with Finance Systems (FFS or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of Broker/Dealer operations is preferred.
• Experience in multi-country financial system implementations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
