We're scaling fast across flights, hotels, Tour Package, and cross-border travel — and we need someone to make sure we grow the right way.
mynztrip (NZ World Tours & Travels Sdn Bhd) is a fast-growing travel-technology and online travel platform spanning flights, hotels, attractions, transport, and white-label solutions across the region. As we expand, so does our regulatory surface — licensing, contracts, data protection, and partner governance. This role owns that.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the company operates in full compliance with applicable Malaysian laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies — including travel and tourism licensing (MOTAC), data protection (PDPA 2010), and consumer protection requirements.
- Review contracts, supplier and partner agreements, and related documents to confirm they meet legal and internal policy standards before execution.
- Verify that all agreements are properly reviewed, approved, and signed off by authorized personnel prior to implementation.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve compliance policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Monitor the validity and renewal of company licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance policies — ensuring nothing lapses.
- Conduct internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments; recommend and track corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare clear compliance reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
- Act as the key liaison between internal teams, partners, vendors, auditors, and regulatory authorities on compliance matters.
- Maintain accurate, well-organized records of contracts, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Support management on additional compliance and governance tasks as required.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in compliance, contract administration, legal support, or documentation (a strong advantage, not a hard requirement for the right candidate).
- Working knowledge of the Malaysian regulatory environment and corporate governance — familiarity with the Companies Act 2016, PDPA 2010, and travel/tourism licensing is a strong plus.
- Legally authorized to work in Malaysia.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- High integrity and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
- Clear communicator with solid report-writing and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
