You will proactively engage decision-makers, identify cloud transformation opportunities, and generate qualified pipeline for downstream sales and solution teams. You will combine strong business development capabilities with technical understanding of cloud technologies to drive meaningful customer conversations and accelerate revenue growth.
This is a fast-paced, KPI-driven hunting role suited for individuals who thrive in outbound sales environments and are passionate about cloud technology, digital transformation, and customer engagement.
What is your mission?
· Proactively hunt and engage net-new customers through outbound prospecting activities including cold calling, email outreach, account mapping, and customer discovery conversations.
· Generate qualified cloud opportunities through proactive outbound hunting and customer discovery activities, enabling downstream sales teams to accelerate pipeline conversion and revenue growth.
· Execute high-volume outbound activities daily to build, manage, and grow a healthy sales pipeline across assigned territories and industries.
· Identify customer pain points, business challenges, and digital transformation opportunities to position relevant cloud and technology solutions.
· Conduct discovery conversations with business and technical decision makers to understand current environments, cloud maturity, business priorities, and potential solution fit.
· Qualify leads based on business needs, technical requirements, buying signals, and opportunity potential before transitioning opportunities to downstream sales teams.
· Drive pipeline generation aligned to defined KPIs including talk time, outbound activities, opportunity creation, and pipeline contribution targets.
· Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including technical specialists, sales teams, partner ecosystems, and operations teams to accelerate opportunity progression.
· Stay updated on cloud technologies, industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging digital transformation initiatives.
Who are we looking for?· Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Minimum academic qualification: Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines.
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in B2B outbound sales, inside sales, demand generation, sales development, business development, or cloud sales environments.
· Proven experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, lead qualification, pipeline generation, and opportunity creation.
· Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed outbound sales and pipeline generation targets.
· Strong interest and understanding of cloud technologies, digital transformation, and enterprise technology solutions.
· Ability to engage confidently with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and decision makers through consultative and value-based conversations.
· Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and regional teams.
· Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
· Experience in SMB or mid-market customer acquisition environments is highly preferred.
