Job Description

Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Own the day-to-day trade accounts-payable processing and month-end close deliverables for P2P Trade across MY01 and SG — invoice processing for inbound freight, RPL and consignment, the related reconciliations and clearing, and the intercompany and BS-recon close tasks — to a tight, audit-defensible standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Invoice processing (daily / on request)

  • Process invoices and credit notes for inbound freight (BPO/SES, local/agency, PR/PO, park JV), RPL (designer fee, supplier invoices and credit notes), and consignment (Punto, H&M, Butik Sireh, Cotton On, Hummel; including end-of-season AW/SS), via the relevant SAP apps and RPA where available, within 3 days of submission.
  • Handle urgent freight payment requests (duty & SST) on submission.
  • Monitor and reply to Freshdesk tickets across freight, RPL and consignment (daily).

Clearing, payments & follow-up

  • Prepare park journal entries on request; perform clearing for prepayments and downpayments.
  • Monitor the biweekly payment schedule; follow up outstanding debit balances and prepayments (monthly).
  • Prepare SOA reconciliations (monthly).

Month-end close (by working day)

  • Bank transaction tagging in SAP and bank recon (HSBC EUR MY01, HSBC SGD MY01) — WD1.
  • Intercompany recon — ZSG-ZHK and ZMY-Cluster (WD3); ZPH-Cluster/GFG (WD5).
  • Freight accrued liability (WD4).
  • BS reconciliations (WD6-WD10): GRIR freight (MY01, aged-PO clearing), accrued consignment (aged MRKO clearing), prepayment & AP aging (SG), designer fee, input-GST recon and clearing (GFG & ZSEA).
  • Tax listings: GFG & ZSEA GST input-tax listings and supporting docs to the Tax team (quarterly, WD5).

Ad hoc / Controls

  • Resolve ERP issues and queries from other teams, vendors and audit; raise and track ERP/SAP tickets.
  • Prepare write-off / write-back per approval where required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance or related; 2–3 years AP / accounts-payable or trade-finance experience (the outgoing role was ~3 years' tenure, JG4).
  • Hands-on SAP AP/FICO experience — invoice posting, park/clearing, BS reconciliation; comfort with multi-entity (MY/SG) processing.
  • Strong reconciliation discipline (intercompany, GRIR, GST, AP aging) and month-end close experience to a working-day timetable.
  • Solid Excel; exposure to RPA/automation a plus (the role already uses RPA for consignment posting).
  • Accurate, deadline-driven, audit-aware; able to manage vendor and cross-team queries independently.
  • Experience with freight/logistics and consignment AP specifically.
  • Familiarity with Freshdesk or similar ticketing; tax-listing/GST exposure.
  • Process-improvement mindset (the team is automating via NeoFlo — an analyst who can work with that transition adds value).
