We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager with a strong Mechanical & Electrical background to lead and coordinate data center construction activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing site execution, contractor coordination, progress monitoring, quality control, safety compliance, and project handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate construction activities for data center M&E works.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, ELV, fire protection, ACMV, BMS, and related building services works.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, work sequencing, and project milestones.
• Review drawings, method statements, work programs, technical submissions, and construction schedules.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Lead site coordination meetings and resolve technical or construction issues.
• Track project risks, delays, variation works, and interface issues between trades.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover, and defects rectification activities.
• Prepare progress reports, site updates, and management reporting.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of construction experience, preferably with M&E project exposure.
• Experience in data center projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems including ACMV, electrical power, ELV, fire protection, BMS, UPS, generators, and cooling systems.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, M&E layouts, schematics, specifications, and project schedules.
• Good leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple contractors and fast-track project schedules.
• Willing to be based at project site.

Pay: RM4,408.00 - RM13,918.21 per month
