Position Objective
This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of Active Directory services across the organization. The position supports business continuity by minimizing the impact of IT service disruptions and aligning infrastructure services with business needs.
The role also drives continuous improvement in service delivery, system performance, and user satisfaction, measured through technology KPIs and SLAs (e.g., availability, utilization, response time).
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Active Directory Management
- Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Active Directory services, including domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Ensure stability, security, and optimal performance of directory services across the organization
2. Incident & Problem Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Active Directory-related incidents and issues
- Ensure timely resolution and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Implement preventive measures to reduce incident recurrence
3. Security & Compliance
- Enforce security best practices, including privileged access management, account lifecycle management, and audit controls
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency
- Ensure services meet agreed SLAs and performance benchmarks
5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to evaluate, select, and implement Active Directory-related solutions
- Support cross-functional alignment to meet operational and project objectives
Financial and Non-Financial Measures
- Delivery of objectives within approved budget
- Achievement of defined KPIs and performance targets
- Performance scorecard outcomes
- Compliance and audit ratings
Communication Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple languages (e.g., English, Mandarin, Cantonese)
- Comfortable working across different time zones and cultures
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills
Minimum Job Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Active Directory or related infrastructure roles
- Hands-on experience with core directory services technologies
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Azure AD, LDAP, and SSO
- Experience with cloud-based directory services is an advantage
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified or equivalent) are preferred
Pay: From RM7,200.00 per month
