The Role
We're looking for a Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition and expand our footprint across the SME and corporate segments. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective clients — identifying opportunities, building relationships, and working closely with our Sales and Technical teams to close deals.
This is a hunter role. You'll be expected to generate your own pipeline, not just manage inbound leads.
What You'll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across SME, corporate, and government segments
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and events
- Understand client needs and recommend the right IT solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, hardware, software licensing, cybersecurity)
- Prepare and present proposals and quotations in collaboration with the Sales team
- Manage the full BD cycle from prospecting to first purchase order
- Represent Intrious at industry events, partner briefings, and client meetings
- Track all activities and pipeline in the CRM and report weekly to the Sales Manager
- Meet or exceed monthly new business targets
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the IT industry
- Familiarity with Microsoft solutions (M365, Azure, or similar) is a strong advantage
- Proven track record of acquiring new clients and meeting revenue targets
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting — you don't wait for leads to come to you
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Able to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
