DESIGNWILKES Sdn Bhd is a boutique Interior Design firm based in WP. Kuala Lumpur, specializing in luxury hotels, restaurants, and residences worldwide. We focus on delivering high-end, bespoke designs that elevate the aesthetic and functionality of spaces.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Design - Senior Specification Coordinator at DESIGNWILKES Sdn Bhd in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The role involves managing design specifications, coordinating with design teams, overseeing submittals, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the design process and to ensure accurate integration into the architectural documentation.


Responsibilities:

Work with Designers to develop schematic FF&E schemes, based on project criteria (brief), programme.

Coordinate with Designer in producing finishes schedules.

Must have knowledge on Microsoft Office ( Mainly Word,Excel & Access)

Well familiar with Adobe Photoshop.

A basic knowledge of AutoCAD is a bonus.

Help to prepare presentations and ensure as per company format.

Full specification documentation of FF&E specifications in conjunction with project requirements.

Have knowledge and passion towards ID Materials

Review samples, strike-offs, etc with the Designer for compliance with specifications and design intent.

Coordinate selection and presentation of artwork and accessories.

Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment

Professional, ethical and committed to excellence in communications

Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other co-workers and departments

Assertive and motivated to generate results

Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and resolving problems utilising sound judgement and reasoning skills

Exceptional time management skills

Ability to employ creative and innovative thought processes

Ability to be flexible and adaptable and be able to work on more than one project at once.

Strong ability to communicate and deal with various suppliers.

To organise and update company material library from time to time.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • 10 years minimum working experience
  • Experience in the luxury hospitality design sector is a plus
