Role Overview

At Thousands of Years Media Sdn. Bhd. (ToYm), we are looking for a Growth Video Editor to produce short-form videos focused on performance and audience growth. This role requires strong understanding of content hooks, pacing, and engagement mechanics to drive views and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos optimized for engagement, retention, and watch time.

• Structure videos with strong opening hooks and fast-paced storytelling.

• Add dynamic subtitles, captions, and visual elements to increase viewer retention.

• Analyze content performance and refine editing approaches accordingly.

• Work closely with content and marketing teams to improve video output quality and effectiveness.

• Follow trending formats and adapt content styles for different platforms.

• Continuously test and improve editing styles based on audience behaviour.

Requirements

• Strong experience in short-form video editing for TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.

• Skilled in editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.

• Good understanding of audience engagement, hooks, and retention strategies.

• Able to work under pressure and produce consistent output.

• Strong attention to detail and content awareness.

• Passion for viral content and social media trends.
