Harvest Advisors holds a Capital Markets Securities (CMS) licence and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. We provide asset management services for institutional investors as well as private wealth management solutions for high-net worth investors in Asia. Our clients include sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, listed companies, and family offices.

As part of our expansion plan, we are looking for a technically rigorous Research Analyst to cover the petrochemical and commodities sectors. You will sit at the intersection of deep-tech research and investment analysis, translating complex materials science developments into actionable investment insights.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth technical research across the petrochemical and commodities sectors, with a focus on materials science and supply-chain dynamics
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through rigorous due diligence, including supply-chain mapping and competitive analysis
• Engage directly with company management, industry experts, and ecosystem contacts to develop proprietary research insights

Your attributes:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in electronic manufacturing, petrochemicals, or a related industrial sector
• Strong technical foundation in materials science, chemistry, or physics, with the ability to translate deep-tech concepts into investment context
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline
• Flexibility to work extended hours on an ad-hoc basis when required
