OVERVIEW

This is a role for a banking veteran who is deeply passionate about technology and innovation, ready to lead, mentor, and shape the future of AI in financial services. You will be part strategist, part domain expert, part AI practitioner — and entirely at the frontier.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prompt Engineering Expert: Responsible for the design, development, and iterative refinement of high-complexity prompts for enterprise-grade LLM solutions deployed in live banking environments, ensuring outputs meet the rigour, accuracy, and compliance standards of the financial sector.
2. AI Use Case Strategy: Identify, scope, and prioritise high-value AI use cases across lending, credit underwriting, credit administration, and related banking verticals. Drive these initiatives from ideation through to deployment.
3. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the senior domain subject matter expert in client engagements — articulating the value of AI solutions in banking terms that resonate with operations teams and C-suite stakeholders alike.
4. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with product management, software engineering, and implementation teams to ensure that AI solutions are designed with practical banking constraints, regulatory considerations, and client realities in mind.
5. Team Mentorship & Capability Building: Guide and upskill junior analysts, helping them deepen their banking domain knowledge and apply it effectively in AI solution design and prompt engineering.
6. Quality Standards & Governance: Define and enforce standards for AI output quality and domain validation, ensuring solutions align with relevant regulatory frameworks and responsible AI principles.
7. Thought Leadership: Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, external publications, and client-facing thought leadership on the intersection of AI and banking — positioning JurisTech as the partner of choice in AI-driven banking transformation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with strong hands-on exposure to credit underwriting, lending operations, credit risk management, or related areas.
• A demonstrated passion for technology and innovation — you actively explore how emerging technologies, especially AI, can transform the way financial services are delivered.
• Solid working knowledge of generative AI concepts and tools (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI platforms), with prior experience applying these in a professional context considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — you can translate complex AI capabilities for non-technical stakeholders and banking complexity for technical teams with equal confidence.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability, with experience guiding less-experienced colleagues in a cross-functional setting.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and design scalable solutions.
