Reports To: Technical Manager

Role Summary:

The BIM Modeler is responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models and shop drawings for precast concrete elements. This role supports the design and production teams by ensuring accurate, coordinated, and constructible models that align with project specifications and manufacturing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain BIM models for precast elements.
2. Generate detailed shop drawings and reinforcement layouts based on design inputs.
3. Prepare and manage design documentation including drawings and document control forms.
4. Coordinate with design engineers, production teams, and site personnel to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
5. Review and cross-check shop drawings prepared by other modelers for quality and compliance.
6. Support clash detection and coordination processes using BIM tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or NTC in Structural/Architectural Engineering or Draftsmanship.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software such as Revit, Allplan, or Tekla Structures (preferred for precast).
• Understanding of precast concrete design and detailing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
