Responsibilities

Job Summary

You will deliver comprehensive HR and administrative support, managing recruitment, onboarding, payroll, work pass administration, training coordination, and employee relations to ensure smooth HR operations aligned with company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive HR and administrative support to ensure efficient department operations
  • Organize recruitment activities to source and select candidates who meet job requirements within set timelines
  • Coordinate new employee orientation and manage exit clearance procedures to facilitate smooth transitions
  • Monitor and administer work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations to maintain compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate foreign worker accommodation and related activities to support workforce needs
  • Draft and prepare HR-related letters including appointment, confirmation, increment, and promotion communications
  • Prepare and compute monthly payroll accurately and submit on time to ensure timely employee compensation
  • Coordinate insurance renewals and update coverage according to company requirements promptly
  • Monitor departmental training plans and maintain training documentation to assess training effectiveness
  • Manage non-executive disciplinary matters sensitively, providing detailed advice to management
  • Support departments in applying for work-related smart cards, badges, and passes with external partners
  • Organize staff medical and health activities such as pest control, fogging, and hearing tests to promote workplace health
  • Maintain records of safety meetings, incidents, accidents, and follow-up actions to support workplace safety
  • Execute ad-hoc HR and administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Manager to support evolving business needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Human Resource Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist
  • Knowledgeable in Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Employment Law and labour laws to ensure legal compliance
  • Demonstrate meticulousness, a positive attitude, and an approachable personality to foster effective workplace relations
