Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
· Responsible to lead an on-shore team to fulfil end-to-end software development and support for all approved initiatives (which could be projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development, implementation, testing and support.
· Partner with Core Banking and Wealth Off-shore Delivery Manager to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
· Responsible to collaborate with Enterprise and Domain architects to align application design to the overall architectural guidelines and direction.
· Responsible to provide leadership and guidance on application architecture and design
· Responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. This includes delivery of source codes in compliance to the Bank's defined security and coding standards (through clean Veracode, SonarQube results).
· Manage development issues and provide timely escalation of issues that impacts development schedule with proposed options for resolution
· Provide regular, timely updates and escalation to CBK Head of Tech Delivery & Development.
· To manage vendor relationship to ensure deliverables are timely and of quality.
· Partner with Testing Centre of Excellence (TCOE) Test Manager to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing with quality results
· Responsible for the people development aspects for the On-shore Core Banking delivery team
· Responsible for the timely completion of performance management process for all team members
Requirements:
Technical Skills & Experience
· Good business knowledge across multiple domains within Core Banking and Wealth Management
· Experience in Wealth Management systems/software will be an added advantage
· More than 10 years proven track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility
· More than 8 years leadership experience in managing IT teams (>20 people)
· Proven experience in a leader-of-leaders role.
· Proven result-oriented career with a focus on development
· Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills
· Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders
· Good understanding and experience in waterfall and agile software development methodologies
Education
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain
· Related professional/technical qualification (e.g. PMP) will be advantageous although not mandatory
Key Domain/ Technical Skills:
· Strong domain knowledge in Banking and Wealth Management
· API integration and system interfaces
· Proficiency with SDLC methodologies
