SEB Asia Limited Hiring! Full Time Transportation Planner in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Transportation Planner to support deployment of transportation plans and drive continuous improvement initiatives in response to commercial needs within a rapid-changing ocean freight environment nowadays.

The incumbent will execute transportation capacity planning and allocating spaces in priority by working with internal and external stakeholders; and will support the manager in identifying solutions to fill the gap during peak season or promotional orders.

To ensure smooth transport flow and on-time delivery of SEB products to 40+ countries, including Europe, the USA, LATAM, and intra-Asia, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in transport planning and fulfilment.

What’s in it for you:

• Develop and execute transportation plans aligned with commercial demand and global supply chain priorities

• Optimize ocean freight capacity allocation to achieve high service levels and cost efficiency

• Manage end-to-end shipment planning and execution to ensure service level performance across global markets

• Maximize utilization of contracted capacity and proactively secure additional capacity when required

• Manage carrier and 3PL relationships, including performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives

• Analyze demand versus transport capacity and mitigate risks, especially during peak and promotional periods

• Monitor key logistics KPIs (e.g. capacity utilization, freight cost) and drive corrective actions

• Support process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives (e.g. TMS, ERP, reporting tools)

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Commercial, and Sourcing teams to align priorities and support logistics strategy

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related disciplines

• 3–6 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation planning

• Solid understanding of ocean freight operations, capacity planning, and carrier management

• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities

• Experience with SAP, TMS, or other ERP systems

• Exposure to automation or data analytics tools (e.g. Python, RPA, Power BI) is an advantage

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with ability to work independently under pressure

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in a multicultural environment

• Fluent in English and Mandarin
