About the role

General Security (H.K.) Limited, a leading provider of security services, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's HR strategy and supporting our valued employees.

What you'll be doing

• Providing strategic HR support and advisory services to the management team and employees

• Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations

• Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance the employee experience

• Collaborating with the leadership team to identify and address workforce needs, support business objectives, and foster a positive company culture

• Managing the HR budget and reporting on key HR metrics to drive continuous improvement

• Delivering training and development programmes to upskill and engage our employees

• Actively participating in employee engagement initiatives and fostering open communication.

• Advancing the HSIM trial aims to improve, implement, and enhance the HR system, which will help increase the efficiency of the HR system and to improve user satisfaction.

What we're looking for

• Relevant undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the security or professional services industry

• Excellent knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws, regulations, and best practices

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels

• Proficient in using HR information systems and data analysis tools

• A collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented approach

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Human Resources Officer.
