Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall planning, selection, timeliness and cost management of logistics freight forwarding.
• Responsible for logistics transportation booking, pick-up, status follow-up, and handling of exceptions.
• Serve as the work interface with MITI, MIDA, and customs, and keep abreast of policies and changes in import and export operations.
• Responsible for the application and maintenance of LMW.
• Handle import and export customs matters, such as sorting customs declaration documents and outputting customs declaration data.
• Apply for and track CO certificates.
• Ad-hoc tasks assigned by direct superior.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or above in international trade, logistics or related field..
• At least 1 year of work experience in related fields; familiarity with Malaysian import and export processes, and knowledge of U.S. import and export processes and policies is preferred.
• Proficient in customs declaration and clearance procedures, and understanding of relevant national laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, as well as problem-solving abilities; basic listening and speaking skills in Mandarin are required.
